| Funny how music strikes you. This is a song I heard driving back to Kansas from CO. Don't know anything about the artist, never heard the song, but it struck me and I wanted to share. Without something to believe...there's nothing...
Believe (by The Bravery)
The faces all around me - they don't smile, they just crack. Waiting for our ship to come, but our ship's not coming back. We do our time like pennies in a jar, but what are we saving for? What are we saving for?
There’s a smell of stale fear, and it's reeking from our skins. The drinking never stops because the drinks absolve our sins. We sit and grow our roots into the floor, but what are we waiting for? What are we waiting for?
So give me something to believe 'Cause I am living just to breathe. And I need something more To keep on breathing for, So give me something to believe.
Something’s always coming - you can hear it in the ground. It swells into the air with the rising, rising sound And never comes but shakes the boards and rattles all the doors. What are we waiting for? What are we waiting for?
So give me something to believe 'Cause I am living just to breathe. And I need something more To keep on breathing for, So give me something to believe.
I am hiding from some beast, but the beast was always here. Watching without eyes because the beast is just my fear That I am just nothing - that's just what I’ve become. What am I waiting for? It’s already done.
So give me something to believe 'Cause I am living just to breathe. And I need something more To keep on breathing for, So give me something to believe.
And I need something more To keep on breathing for, So give me something to believe.

| Bronchitis + Flu + Wisdom teeth removed = An awesome Christmas break.
Actually, it is great to be home, sickness and all. This last semester pretty well burned me out. I guess it's saying something that having the aforementioned problems is still better than this semester was!
But it's always good to be home, especially to see the kids. I miss watching the little ones grow up, and I love seeing them again. I'm sure the Vicadin helps!!
To all my friends, I hope you had a great Christmas, and have a Happy New Year. Here's to a better semester next year!

| Okay maybe not undone entirely. And yet sometimes I wonder. :)
You know those days when you put your paper plate in the sink and your fork in the trash or put the carton of eggs on the stove and put the pan in the fridge? The times when you set your alarm for AM instead of PM? The moments you remember something that you could have done 3 weeks ago but forgot about and now it has to be postmarked by midnight and it's 11:43? .....Story of my life. This week anyway.
By the way: Does anybody have any great ideas for a scavenger hunt? I'm suppposed to make one. By Friday. I've never even been ON a scavenger hunt, let alone designed one. So any ideas would be awesome.
I'm leaving Learjet on Friday, which stinks. I'm gonna miss it. And I'm REALLY going to miss the Stearman and Pitts. But I'm excited about this school year, it's gonna be good. n e way, bedtime.
